If you've made a decision to forego your Facebook page for a different method to reach your audience, or if you're relocating a brand-new direction with your occupation, getting rid of that Facebook page is a luckily pain-free procedure.
Facebook Delete Page
To delete a Facebook page you've created for your business navigate to that page and also do the following:
- Click Settings on top of the page.
- Scroll down to the really last option under General - Remove page - and click Edit.
- Click the connect to remove your page.
- In the popup home window that opens up click Delete page.
- You must see a message validating that your page has entered deletion mode.
There are a couple of things to keep in mind:
- You have 2 Week to change your mind. If you choose you do not intend to remove your page you can recover it by going to the page before the two week period ends and clicking Cancel Deletion.
- If you want to offer yourself a break from running a Facebook page but do not want to erase it totally, you could unpublish it so just admins can see it. You will also not lose your followers if you do this.
Ways to unpublish your page without removing it
If you typically aren't certain whether you want to completely erase your page, you could "unpublish" it (make it personal so only page admins can view it).

Visit to the Facebook page you provide.
Click "Settings" in the top righthand corner of your screen.
Find the "page Visibility" setup (it's the second one), and click the pencil icon to modify.
