How Do You Change Your Primary Email On Facebook

It's no trick that Facebook desires users to invest more time on their site. More time on Facebook means more info they can collect. Emailing through the Facebook platform is one way to do so. Facebook assumes that considering that we're on the platform, we may also email there also. Ahhh, not so much. Slipping this new email into our settings without previous consent isn't really the best way to win users over.

If you do not wish to run away but don't wish to utilize Facebook e-mail, how do you eliminate it?
As far as I understand, you can not entirely remove the Facebook e-mail. Facebook makes us think that we can. But when we really go into the settings, it's not possible.
You can either:.
1). Hide the Facebook e-mail from your timeline.
2). Make the Facebook e-mail readily available to be seen just by you.
Note: You can Get rid of any other of your e-mails listed, however you can not remove your Facebook email. Pretty practical for Facebook, eh?
In any of the above two cases, you'll have to get to the Settings initially.
- Click Update Details from your Profile.
- Scroll Down to Contact Information (under Fundamental Info) then struck Edit.
1. To Hide the Facebook email from your Timeline:.
On the far right, you'll see a circle with an arrow pointing down.
Click the down arrow and select "Hidden from Timeline.".
Scroll down to the bottom and hit "Save.".
2. To make the Facebook e-mail just viewable by you:.
The default is set to be viewed by Friends. To change this setting:.

Scroll down to the Lock that states "Just Me." Select.
Scroll down to the bottom and hit "Save.".
