How To Change My Facebook Email
According to Facebook: "Your Facebook e-mail is based upon your public username. Email sent to this address goes to Facebook Messages.".
It's clear that Facebook desires users to spend more time on their site. More time on Facebook implies more info they can gather. Emailing through the Facebook platform is one method to do so. Facebook assumes that because we're on the platform, we might as well email there also. Ahhh, not so much. Slipping this brand-new email into our settings without previous consent isn't the very best way to win users over.

As far as I understand, you can not entirely eliminate the Facebook e-mail. Facebook makes us believe that we can. But when we really go into the settings, it's not possible.
You can either:.
1). Hide the Facebook e-mail from your timeline.
2). Make the Facebook email available to be viewed just by you.
Keep in mind: You can Get rid of any other of your emails listed, however you can not remove your Facebook e-mail. Pretty convenient for Facebook, eh?
In any of the above 2 cases, you'll have to get to the Settings first.
- Click Update Information from your Profile.
