Although there is no offered link in Facebook's interface to delete a group, the system automatically eliminates groups that have no members. For that reason, to delete a group, you first need to get rid of all its members and then leave it. If you leave the group without formerly removing all its members, the group will stay there and you will lose your admin status, so you won't be able to erase this group any longer. This is the way to delete it properly:
Deleting A Facebook Group?
To delete a Facebook group, you require to remove all the members, then yourself. This makes the group disappear.
In your group, locate its Members location:
Click on the Members link and here you are with your list of members:.
For each member, click on the cog under the member's name and click Eliminate from Group. Note that this is where you can make them an Admin rather.
Facebook will ask you to verify.
Do this for each member of the group.
Finally, eliminate yourself from the group in the same method. You will get this verification message:.
This is the very same error message whether you're just leaving the group or you're the last to leave-- just select Leave Group.
The group must now vanish. If it does not, your best choice is to get in touch with Facebook. Click the arrow marked here:.
And choose Report an Issue from the dropdown.
